Australian Republican Movement (Queensland) Members and Supporters Evening

It's been a huge 12 months in the journey toward an Australian republic. Among all the big stories - the Premiers uniting behind our push, the axing of knights and dames, the bungled $5 note.

At least there is one Federal election issue our leaders agree on! An Australian republic has support from across the political spectrum. We have arrived at a unique moment in the history of our country with the ARM's former Chair, Malcolm Turnbull, now Prime Minister, and bipartisan support for an Australian citizen to be our head of state from the Federal Opposition leader, Bill Shorten.

An Australian republic is back in the headlines, and our Movement has bold new leadership with Peter FitzSimons AO. Right now, Australians are thinking and talking about our national leadership, and our national identity, in ways they haven't for a long time.

The ARM Queensland invites you to our campaign focussed Discussion Evening.
